Haven't liked either Windows OS 8.1 or 10 on my Lappie, so have stayed with Windows 7 and now Office Pro 2013 on my Dtop.

Now, back in action! I used MS Office Pro 2007 on my old SSD Windows 7OS. It's been a miserable 3 months w/out good document editing or even old file retrievals. '15, yet operated all this time w/out installing office software. Partially for finances sake, I installed a new/faster/larger Solid State Drive (SSD) w/help back in Dec. I wouldn't call myself a computer tecchie/nerd by any means, but I know just enough of the commands for the basics in the softwares I need and commonly use. Hello software-seekers of the MS/PC type. They then sell the same MAK Product Key up to 100 times to different buyers. Not the Easiest, but much MORE complete & MORE capable Office software! For example suppose an online seller obtained 100 activations from some company.

These keys may have been bought originally through the volume license channel but are being resold online. Since these products are only normally supposed to be available through the volume license channel where are these products coming from?

You get to use the same Product Key to install Office until you exceed the number of activations purchased. No matter how many activations you buy you only get one Product Key for all of them. Note when you buy Office through the volume license channel you are actually buying activations. KMS Product Key - Allows multiple activations through a companies own activation servers.MAK Product Key - Allows one time activation with a Microsoft activation server.Link to download Office Professional Plus 2010 installation file. When I logged onto the Microsoft Volume Licensing Service Center I was given the following: I bought it from a company this is authorized by Microsoft to distriubte volume license software. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.ĭiscounted Office Professional Plus for sale onlineĮight years ago I obtained a copy of Office Professional Plus 2010 for a non-profit organization I work with. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. The next LTSC release of Windows Server.Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018. Microsoft Office 2019 will only work on Windows 10 Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go. Like I said I am saving Office 2010 in the case that Office 2019 no longer works. I like Office 2010 better but that is all that I have that isn't being used. If that doesn't work out I may instead subscribe to Microsoft 365 Personal. Instead I bought Office 2019 Professional Plus. I had considered buying a subscription to Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365). That will cover both my main desktop and laptop. If at some point they no longer activate I may just fall back to Office 2010 University. If they continue to work for more than one year I will have gotten my money's worth. I am aware that at some point in the future they may no longer activate. The two copies of Office 2019 Professional Plus I have are from one of the unofficial sources.

(3) Academic version of Office 2010 Professional. Subsequent versions of Office do not allow that. (2) These versions of office can be installed on up to two computers with one being a desktop and tn other being a mobile device (laptop). (1) I also have even older copies of Office but they are too old to be useful. If you instead have Microsoft 365 Personal when going to school you can still get 12 months of Microsoft 365 Personal for $12 when you graduate. After that it is the regular price of $69.99 per year. I see that after you graduate you can covert Microsoft 365 Education to 12 months of Microsoft 365 Personal for $12. That was a good deal because Office 2010 Professional went for about $400.Īre you using the free academic version of Office 365? Is it Office 365 Education or Microsoft 365 Education? When I was going to school in 2012 I purchased Office 2010 University for $99.
